This is the best, warmest, coat I've ever owned. Definitely a five-star coat. I've gotten compliments on it everywhere. With the extreme cold where I am, everyone remarks how warm it must be, and I tell them that it's every bit as warm as they expect. (Living in place that gets cold, snowy winters, is manageable if you wear the right stuff.)

That said, this is a Canadian company, and I live in the U.S. So if you are in a similar situation, know two things, but don't let either dissuade you from getting this coat if you're in the market for it. Trust me. It's really the best coat I have ever owned.

First, even though the coat is priced at 1795 CAD, it is ALSO priced at 1795 USD. So there's no savings there when it comes to the exchange rate. You're technically paying them a lot more. I wasn't expecting that, and if it technically could have been around 1337 USD, then at least half of the difference would have covered the import fees from customs.

Second, expect to get a bill from UPS for an additional payment of around 180 USD for import tariff payments that you owe to customs. My coat was not held up by customs, but my bill came about 6 days after the date that they required payment.

This is good to know, as there's a Ghostbusters collection coming soon from Wuxly, and I am now prepared for how it will work.
